Joe Gleason
Joe Gleason is a film editor who has worked with director Terrence Malick since 2016. He edited Malick's 2019 film, A Hidden Life, telling the story of Franz Jagerstatter, an Austrian farmer and devout Christian who was executed by the Nazis in 1943.
Gleason received his bachelor's degree in Film from the University of Notre Dame. He has taught mini-courses on filmmaking and film analysis. He currently resides and works in Austin, TX. A few of his favorite movies include The Tree of Life, Babette's Feast, Ordinary People, and The Muppet Christmas Carol.
